Marketing Director
About the Role
As Marketing Director, you will be at the forefront of driving CyberVadis' growth as a global provider of a third-party cyber risk management (TPCRM) solution. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and execute a B2B demand generation strategy from the ground up while elevating CyberVadis’ brand visibility in a competitive market. As part of a growing global scale-up, you’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where your creativity, ambition, and ability to execute will make a real impact.
You’ll initially lead a small team of two, with the opportunity to scale the function as the company grows. This role is ideal for a hands-on, results-oriented leader who combines strategic vision with the ability to roll up their sleeves to deliver impactful marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities
B2B Demand Generation Leadership: Develop and execute a global marketing strategy focused on scalable demand generation that attracts new enterprise- and mid-sized customers and retains existing ones.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and collaborate closely with the marketing team (currently 2 team members) to foster a high-performing and positive work culture.
Hands-On Campaign Execution: Plan and implement end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns across content, events, email marketing, paid media, SEO, and social media. Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in the early stages.
Brand Positioning: Define and enhance the company’s brand narrative and customer journey to strengthen our global market position.
Performance & KPIs: Establish clear marketing KPIs, track performance, and optimize activities to maximize ROI. Report results and key insights to the leadership team.
Market Insights: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviour to continually refine marketing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product experts to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies and messaging.
Budget Management: Own and optimize the marketing budget to deliver maximum impact with available resources.
External Partnerships: Manage key relationships with partners including agencies, content creators, and event organizers to scale campaigns effectively.
What You Bring
Experience: 7-10 years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on demand generation in international, high-growth environments. Experience in cybersecurity or software industries is a strong plus.
Hands-On Leadership: A proven ability to flex between hands-on execution and strategic leadership. You’re comfortable building alongside your team and leading by example.
B2B Demand Generation Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels (paid media, SEO, email, CRO, content marketing, social media) with experience in building scalable marketing funnels and pipelines.
Strategic Mindset: A growth-focused thinker who can build robust marketing plans, define measurable goals, and create strong brands.
Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing tools like Pardot and Salesforce to manage campaigns and optimize lead performance.
Team & Collaboration Skills: A team player at heart who collaborates effectively across functions and enjoys helping each other succeed.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze marketing performance data, draw actionable insights, and drive optimization.
Ambition: You are highly motivated to grow personally and professionally alongside the company’s success.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Education: Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Languages: Native-level English is required; French or German is a plus.
