About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruitment Assistant to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will play a crucial part in the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to scheduling interviews and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies.
* Source potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and professional networks.
* Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
* Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews.
* Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
* Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics.
* Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as scheduling meetings and preparing offer letters, follow up with required documentations (per Internal & ISO policy) and contract agreements.
* Notify and follow up with the IT department for the allocation of IT tools to new recruits.
* Notify and follow up with the admin department for the allocation of Office Access Cards to new recruits
* Follow up on renewal, enrollment, addition(s) or deletion(s) pertaining to the benefits plans (health insurance scheme, Gym Membership &/or others)
* Provide documentation and information on new joiners to HR team for payroll requirements
* Fill in the new recruits’ payroll sheets.
* Open tickets for the onboarding and offboarding of people joining & leaving the company.
* Sending the Hire Packet email to new recruits, conducting the Orientation & Induction program on their first day and the Code of Ethic Training session.
* Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
* Follow up the End of probation of new joiners, send email request to TL & Manager to fill the End of Probation period sheet, provide the respective letters (Confirmation or extension of probation letters)
* Keep the HR team inform of any changes or amendments made for updates to be effected on the HRMIS and payroll systems.
* Follow up with the offboarding of leavers, conduct the exit interviews and prepare their Certificate of Employment letters.
* Provide support in any tasks pertaining to the function whenever required

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* Previous experience in recruitment or HR is a plus but is not required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.

Location: Mauritius
Start date: ASAP
Full time position: (Permanent after 6 months probation)
