Senior Salesforce Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Administrator to lead our Salesforce platform initiatives and serve as a key driver of system optimization, user support, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Salesforce administration, project management, and Agile methodologies, who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will focus primarily on Sales Cloud, with Account Management, while driving user adoption and continuous improvement. In addition to acting as Senior System Administrator for the Salesforce.com application, the successful candidate will support data quality and integrity both within Salesforce and between Salesforce and other IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Administration: Oversee advanced administration tasks, including managing complex user profiles, roles, permission sets, and flows. Provide ongoing support for user requests and troubleshoot system issues efficiently.
- Project Management: Lead Salesforce-related projects from requirements gathering to completion, including project planning, timeline management, resource coordination, and comprehensive documentation.
- Agile/Scrum Leadership: Act as Scrum Master for Salesforce projects, facilitating Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives), resolving blockers, and ensuring on-time delivery of project deliverables.
- Data Governance and Integrity: Establish and enforce data hygiene best practices. Conduct regular data audits, implement data cleansing processes, and integrate data enrichment tools to maintain high-quality data standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, finance, operations, Business Operations, and Information Technology teams to align Salesforce initiatives with business objectives, streamline processes, and enhance user experience.
- User Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials, create detailed process documentation, and provide hands-on support to end users. Drive adoption of new features, including custom functionalities.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about Salesforce releases and emerging industry best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
- Data Management: Manage data imports, database de-duping, and cleanup to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- System Integration: Manage the integration of applications connected to Salesforce.com, including but not limited to Account Management, to ensure seamless functionality and data flow.
- Risk Identification and Process Improvement: Identify production risks and areas for improvement; prioritize, design, and facilitate successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
- Cross-Functional Support: Support the Business Operations team in cross-functional projects and strategic changes to systems and processes.
- Requirements Analysis and Solution Design: Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality, and translate approved solutions into actionable deliverables, ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Salesforce Administrator, with proven success managing user environments in a fast-paced organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, automation tools like flows, reporting, and dashboards. Experience with third-party integrations and data enrichment tools.
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and training end users.
- Analytical Skills: Strong focus on data quality, process improvement, and problem-solving, with excellent attention to detail.
