HR Senior Associate
As an HR Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our HR team by managing local HR operations and payroll for Poland, while driving our Talent Management strategy on a global scale.
This position reports directly to the HR Director.
You will join a close-knit, collaborative HR team of 4 people, including the HR Director, a Senior HR Associate (dedicated to the Mauritius scope), an HR Administrative Assistant and you.
While each team member owns their specific scope, the team works very closely together on a daily basis to align on global strategies, share best practices, and support overall company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Talent Management (~70% of time)
Drive Global Processes: Own and manage the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of global HR programs including Performance Reviews, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and Job Classification systems.
Framework Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to design and update global competency frameworks and career paths.
Change Management: Act as the global champion for talent initiatives, providing guidance, training, and tools to managers worldwide to foster employee development and retention.
2. Local HR for Poland (~30% of time)
Payroll & Benefits Coordination (Outsourced): Act as the primary local interface with our external payroll provider for Poland (~30 FTEs). Consolidate, verify, and transfer monthly payroll variables (new hires, terminations, salary changes, absences, bonuses)
HR Administration: Maintain the HR management system (HRIS), manage local employee files, and oversee internal communications.
Employee Experience: Execute the employee experience and engagement plans, including onboarding/offboarding, team building, gifting programs, and corporate activities.
Compliance & Legal: Ensure compliance with Polish employment law, including updating local HR policies.
End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the local recruitment plan autonomously for all Polish positions, from sourcing and interviewing to contract negotiation, while supporting hiring managers in defining their talent needs.
Manager Coaching & Support: Act as a trusted HR partner to local managers, coaching them on day-to-day team management, performance tracking, conflict resolution, and leadership best practices. Guide them through complex employee relations and help them build high-performing teams.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional HR experience specifically handling the Polish scope (including hands-on payroll, local labor law, and recruitment).
Global Exposure: Previous experience working within a global/multinational corporate environment. You must be familiar with international corporate structures and global processes.
Talent Management Familiarity: While you do not need to have previously led a global Talent Management department, you must have participated in or worked closely with global HR processes such as performance reviews, talent mapping, or job grading in a previous role.
Languages: Fluency in Polish and English is required (both written and spoken).
Skills: Strong organizational skills, autonomy, ability to navigate matrix organizations, and a customer-centric approach to employee inquiries.

5. Leadership Alignment : A strategic conversation with our CEO to discuss the company’s long-term vision and how the HR function supports our global growth.
6. Final On-Site Round : The final step! An invitation to our Warsaw office for an informal face-to-face round with the HR Director and some of the local colleagues you’ll be collaborating with daily.
